The Union Shipping Ministry has given the additional charge of the post
of Chairman, Inland Waterways
Authority of India (IWAI) to Pravir Pandey. The IWAI top post fell
vacant after Ms Nutan Guha Biswas (IAS:1983:UT) demitted
office on 31 July 2018 on superannuation.
Pandey, a 1988 batch officer of Indian Audit & Accounts Service, is Vice Chairman of IWAI. The Ministry issued the order to this effect on August 02. He will continue as IWAI Chairman till the appointment of a regular incumbent.
