PMO set to clear appointment of eight Railway GMs next week

The appointment orders of as many as eight Railway General Managers were expected to be out by Friday evening. But Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that the orders would be issued between July 25 and July 27. Reportedly, the Railway Board had moved the proposal for the appointment of these GMs on 19 July 2016 to the PMO.
It is said that Ghanshyam Singh may be appointed as GM Eastern Railway; M C Chauhan as GM, Kolkata Metro; M K Gupta as GM, RCF (Raibareily); D K Gayen as GM, East Central Railway; Akhil Agarwal as GM, Central Railway; A K Gupta as GM, South Western Railway; O P Agarwal as GM, RWF and Sudhanshu Mani GM, Integrated Coach Factory, Kapoorthala.
