Half dozen Secretary level appointment & reshuffle next week

If one goes by the long vacant posts and the present dispensation's approach, half a dozen appointments and reshuffle could be expected next week.
Three top posts have been lying vacant for weeks and months: Secretary, Dept of Rural Development; Secretary PMO vice R Ramanujam, and Secretary, DOPT vice Sanjay Kothari. Reportedly, first two posts would be filled by the freshly empanelled 1983 batch officers whereas 1980 and 1981 batch officers are in consideration zone for DOPT.
In case the DOPT is given to a senior batch (1980 or 1981), it would create a chain for further reshuffle of 2-3 secretaries.
