The Public Sector headhunter on Monday selected RAdm. Anil Kumar Saxena for the post of Director (Shipbuilding), Maagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDSL); a post currently lying vacant. PESB today held the selection interview for which four candidates appeared namely: Heman V Karekar (ED, MDSL); Pramod Shankar Shenwal (GM, MDSL); Deviprasad Raghunath Kulkarni (GM, MDSL); RAdm Anil Kumar Saxena (DG Naval Design, MOD). Rear Admiral Saxena, a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, got commissioned into the Indian Navy in the year 1982. He is a member of the Institute of Naval Architects, Institute of Marine Engineers (India), Naval Ship Technical Committee(NSTC), Lloyd's Registry of Shipping(LRS), London (UK) and Project Management Associates (India). RAdm Saxena has been awarded Nausena Medal (devotion to duty) and twice commended by the Chief of the Naval Staff for his meritorious service.
