New Delhi (26.08.2023): The public-sector head-hunter (PESB) advertised vacancies against four Board-level positions this week in various Central PSUs including a CMD post.
CMD post in Madras Fertilizers Limited (MFL) was advertised on 24.08.2023 inviting applications on or before 20.09.2023 against a post which fell vacant on 16.06.2023 vice Saravanan U.
The post of Director in-charge (Bokaro Steel Plant) in Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) was advertised on 22.08.2023 inviting applications on or before 18.09.2023. The post fell vacant after Amarendu Prakash (MD, BSP) took over as SAIL Chairman on June 01, 2023.
Similarly, the post of Director (Production) in NMDC Limited and Director (HR) post in NTPC Limited were advertised on 22.08.2023 inviting applications on or by 18.09.2023. The NMDC post is scheduled to fall vacant on 01.07.2024 whereas NTPC post will fall vacant on 01.05.2024.
It may be underlined the sanctioned Board-level strength of MFL includes CMD and Director (Technical) and both key positions are vacant at present. CMD post is lying vacant since June this year whereas Director (Technical) post was up for Search-cum-selection which didn’t find a suitable candidate during selection meeting held on 19.10.2022.
