New Delhi (02.11.2024): Arun Sinha (IPS: 1984: KL), National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO) Chief, has been given another extension in his tenure as NTRO Chief up to December 31, 2024. Sinha was on a six-month extension up to October 31, 2024.Initially, it was believed that the incumbent DG of a Central Police Organisation would be made next NTRO Chief but it appears that the decision has been put on hold at least for now else the extension could have been at least for another six months or a year. The NTRO, India’s technical intelligence wing, reports to the National Security Council headed by National Security Adviser Ajit Doval in the PMO.
