Even though ousted CBI Director Alok Verma didn't follow the government advice to join as Director General of Fire Services, Civil Defence and Home Guards on Thursday, the government may opt for not initiating any action against what some consider as an act of 'disobedience'. 

Of course, the government might have liked very much that he did join the duty on the last day of his service to GoI. Since Verma chose not to do so, the government is reportedly least bothered about it. Let bygone be bygone is said to be the attitude of the government on the issue.
