New Delhi (20.12.2021): NHPC has an ambitious plan to set up new hydro and solar projects of more than 27000 MW capacity in nine states and neighboring Nepal.Chairman and managing director (CMD) of NHPC Abhay Kumar Singh shared this information and said that NHPC is in talks with some of these states which have shown interest in the projects. He said that Nepal has also shown interest in hydro projects in a joint venture with NHPC when he met the Prime Minister of Nepal during a visit recently. He said that arrangement of Rs 10,000 crore capital expenditure for these projects will not be a problem.NHPC under the Ministry of Power is the largest hydropower company in India.

New Delhi (20.12.2021): NHPC has an ambitious plan to set up new hydro and solar projects of more than 27000 MW capacity in nine states and neighboring Nepal.
Chairman and managing director (CMD) of NHPC Abhay Kumar Singh shared this information and said that NHPC is in talks with some of these states which have shown interest in the projects. He said that Nepal has also shown interest in hydro projects in a joint venture with NHPC when he met the Prime Minister of Nepal during a visit recently.
