New Delhi (23.05.2025): The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) recently conducted swearing in ceremony for its newly appointed Judicial Members on May 23, 2025. The ACC had approved the appointment of two such members in the NCLAT on 26.04.2025 for a period of four years, or till attaining the age of 67 years, whichever is earlier.
NCLAT functions as an appellate tribunal, which hears appeals against orders passed by the NCLT and other authorities, playing a crucial role in India's corporate legal framework. The names of Judicial Member sworn are as follows:
Justice N Sesha Sayee, Former Judge, Madras High Court
Justice Mohammad Faiz Alam Khan, Former Judge, Allahabad High Court
