New Delhi (17.09.2024): The New Delhi establishment on Tuesday appointed Anurag Garg (IPS: 1993: HP) as the new Director General of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) till 23.05.2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Currently, he is working as Additional DG in Border Security Force (BSF).The post of DG, NCB has been under ad hoc arrangement since the retirement of CRPF DG Anish Dayal Singh was holding the additional charge after Satya Narayan Pradhan (IPS: 1988: JH) retired on 31.08.2024.
