Power corridors are abuzz that former Deputy C&AG, Dr. Prasenjit Mukherjee (IA&AS:1980), may be appointed as a Member of National Corporate Law Tribunal (NCLT). Earlier his name was in circulation for the post of C&AG which, however, was given to Rajiv Mehrishi last month.
May it be recalled that Dr. Mukherjee served as Principal Accountant General in Gujarat before moving into the C&AG office.
