As Indianmandarins had carried the news on December 25 speculating the same Ms Sarup is set to take over as new Secretary from the outgoing Secretary Rajarshi Bhattacharya (IAS:1978:AP) on December 31. On November 03 this year she was promoted (in-situ) from Additional Secretary to Special Secretary, Dept of SE&L.
