As Indianmandarins had reported on December 02, 2016 (weblink below) Ms Archana Nigam appointed new Controller General of Accounts (CGA) replacing Mohan Joseph (ICAS:1979) who superannuated on 31st December 2016.
She took over as CGA at the outset of New Year 2017. Prior to this she served as Principal Chief Controller of Accounts, Central Board of Excise & Customs. Reportedly, Anthony Lianzuala (ICAS:1982) was also in the reckoning for the top job.
