Ms Nandan replaces A K Sharma as JS, Road Transport & Highways

The incumbent Principal Resident Commissioner of UP Ms Leena Nandan (IAS:1987:UP) has been appointed Joint Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways. She replaces Alkesh Kumar Sharma (IAS:1990:KL) in the ministry.
In her first stint at Centre Ms Nandan, resident of Bihar, served as Director, Tourism and further as JS Tourism and Information & Broadcast Ministry between 2004 and 2012.
