Praveen Garg replaces Manoj Joshi as JS, Economic Affairs

Praveen Garg (IAS:1988:MP) has been laterally shifted to Department of Economic Affairs under Ministry of Finance.
Garg, resident of Uttar Pradesh and a qualified Chartered Accountant, brings with him wide experience in the fields of revenue, finance, environment, housing, food and civil supplies while serving in the state and vast experience in the fields of law & justice while serving with Govt of India.
In his continued stint as Jt Secretary (GoI) Garg has replaces Manoj Joshi (IAS:KL:1989) who was shifted to Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises last month.
