In her ever first tenure at centre Ms Alka Tiwari (IAS:JH:1988) has got the opportunity to serve as Advisor, NITI Aayog, the newly constituted institution and the brain child of PM Narendra Modi.
Currently she is serving in the cadre as Principal Secretary, Forest. In her new stint in the rank of Joint Secretary at centre she replaces Tuhin Kant Pandey (IAS:OR:1987).
