The J&K government on Monday effected more transfers and postings. A week or so ago, the state government had redeployed a number of officials. Lokesh Dutt Jha, Financial Commissioner Revenue, is transferred and posted as Vice-chairman/director general, J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development, relieving Khurshid Ahmed, commissioner secretary, General Administration Department of the additional charge of the post. Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, principal secretary, Higher Education Department, is transferred and posted as financial commissioner, Revenue, J&K, vice LokeshDuttJha. Muhammad Javed Khan, secretary, Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports Department, shall hold the charge of the post of administrative secretary, Higher Education Department, in addition to his own duties till further orders. Owais Ahmed, additional secretary, Finance Department, is transferred and posted as Director Tribal Affairs, J&K, vice Muhammad Rafi. Muhammad Rafi, Director Tribal Affairs J&K, is transferred and posted as Regional Director Survey and Land Records (ex-officio settlement officer), Srinagar, against an available vacancy. Muhammad Akbar Bhat, Deputy Secretary School Education Department, is transferred and posted as special assistant minister for Agriculture Production.
