With the appointment of Aditya Kumar Mittal (IRSE:1978) as next Member (Engineering) Railway Board one more GM post has become up for grab w.e.f. June 01. Mittal (GM, ECR) will take over from V K Gupta who will retire on May 31.
Currently three Railway Zones are running under temporary arrangement (L/A i.e. Look After) namely; Eastern Railway, North Frontier Railway and NAIR (Vadodra). Mittal's appointment as Member has added another vacancy in East Central Railway (ECR).
