MHA reallocates work; Vyas is Additional Secretary, UT

New Delhi (06.01.2025): Following the appointment of Ashutosh Agnihotri (IAS: 1999: AM) as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Food Corporation of India (FCI), the Ministry of Home Affairs reallocated works among some officers already working in MHA. Accordingly, Nitesh Kumar Vyas (IAS: 1996: MP) has been assigned the responsibility as Additional Secretary, UT which was previously held by Agnihotri. Vyas will report to Home Secretary. Some other Joint Secretary rank officers have also been reallocated new responsibilities which is as follows:
  • Lokhande Prashant Sitaram (IAS: 2001: AGMUT) has been given the responsibility of JKL & WS. He will report to the Home Secretary. 
  • Anil Subramaniam (CSS) has been given the responsibility of IS-I & F-I. He will report to Special Secretary (Internal Security) and N K Vyas. 
  • Praveen Kumar Rai (IAS: 2003: AGMUT), Joint Secretary (UT), will report to N K Vyas.
