Mehta yet to be relieved by MHA; appointed as DGP, Meghalaya

The newly appointed DGP, Meghalaya Rajiv Mehta (IPS:1981:AM) is expected to be relieved from the Government of India. As of now he is still serving as DG, Narcotics Control Bureau under Union Home Ministry. Once, relieved from MHA he will take over as DGP, Meghalaya. Presently, Sunil Kumar Jain is the acting DGP in the state.
