New Delhi (16.12.2022): Satyapal Malik, who served as Bihar, J&K, Goa and Meghalaya governor, has fallen apart from the present dispensation at the Centre apparently knowing the fact that the BJP is not letting anyone remain in active politics beyond 75 years of age. Moreover, the BJP also felt that Malik had enough of gubernatorial assignments. But in the name of serving the cause of farmers, Malik announced contesting election from Muzaffarnagar Lok Sabha seat in 2024 once represented by Late Ajit Singh and even by former J&K CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. His recent meeting with K Chandrashekhar Rao on December 14, 2022 would have certainly made the BJP more worried to keep its Jat support base intact which recently lost Khatauli Assembly by-election.
