Mayawati appoints ex-IPS officer PK as Telengana BSP president

Hyderabad (11.06.2022): In view of future elections in Telengana, Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has appointed former IPS officer RS Praveen Kumar (IPS (rtd): 1995: TG) as Telangana president of the party. Kumar has been touring the state ever since he joined BSP in August last year. In July 2021, he took voluntary retirement from IPS and joined BSP a month later. He has garnered support among downtrodden communities.
