Appointments, replacements, and repatriation of Private Secretaries and OSDs to Union Ministers have become a common affair in the NaMo administration. In most of the cases, which took place in the last one year, such replacements happened abruptly as they were said to have been planned at the top. But this time, many such incidents may take place but by choice.
Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that in the coming weeks, many Private Secretaries may be appointed as DS/Director in Govt of India and some may be back to their cadres. For IAS officers, serving in Govt of India especially at the level of DS/Director has already lost its charm and the PS/OSD job seems to have become equally unexciting.
