Chennai (12.10.2023): The Tamil Nadu government has enacted reshuffle of over a dozen IPS officer with immediate effect. Names of these officers are as follow.
- K Vannia Perumal (IPS: 1992: TN) has been appointed as DGP/Director of Civil Defence & Commandant General Home Guards, Chennai.
- R Tamil Chandran (IPS: 1997: TN) has been appointed as IGP/ Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board, Chennai
- Dr P K Senthil Kumari (IPS: 2004: TN) has been appointed as IGP/Additional Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch, Greater Chennai Police, Chennai.
- C Mageshwari (IPS: 2004: TN) has been appointed as IGP/Commissioner of Police, Tirunelveli City by upgrading the post of DIG/COP, Tirunelveli City.
- K Joshi Nirmal Kumar (IPS: 2002: TN) has been appointed as Inspector General of Police, Civil Supplies CID, Chennai by downgrading the post of DGP, Civil Supplies CID.
- Disha Mittal (IPS: 2010: IPS) has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Technical Services, Chennai.
- Abhishek Dixit (IPS: 2006: TN) has been appointed as DIG/Joint Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, North Zone, Greater Chennai Police.
- Dr B Shamoondeswari (IPS: 2006: TN) has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Headquarters, in the office of the DGP/HOPF.
- T P Suresh Kumar (IPS: TN) has been appointed as Superintendent of Police, Tenkasi District.
- E T Samson (IPS: TN) has been appointed as Superintendent of Police, NIB CID, Chennai.
- S Jeyakumar (IPS: 2004: TN) has been appointed as Superintendent of Police, Tiruvarur District.
