Major reshuffle in J&K administration, sixty IAS officers transferred

The General Administration Department (GAD) ordered the transfer of over 60 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) officers. Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department, shall also hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Transport Department, in addition to his own duties, relieving Saugat Biswas, IAS Transport Commissioner, J&K of the additional charge of the post. Shahid Anayatullah, IAS Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Revenue Department, shall also hold the charge of the post of Financial Commissioner, Revenue, in addition to his own duties, till further orders. Farooq Ahmad Lone, IAS, Chief Executive Officer, Economic Reconstruction Agency, J&K, holding additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, SPV, Srinagar, is transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department. The officer shall look after the charge of Administrative Secretary, Social Welfare Department, relieving Asif Hameed Khan, KAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department of the additional charge of the post. Syed Abid Rashid Shah, IAS Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, shall also hold the charge of the post of CEO, Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for Srinagar City for implementation of the Smart City Project, under the Smart City Mission. Satesh Razdan, Development Commissioner (Works), shall hold the charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer, Economic Reconstruction Agency, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders. Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, IAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, is posted as Director, Area Planning and ex-officio Special Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, against an available vacancy.
