Major bureaucratic rejig in Jharkhand: DK Tiwari is Development Commissioner

The Govt of Jharkhand on Wednesday effected a major administration reshuffle. 23 senior IAS officers were transferred and posted while few of them were also given additional charge of different department.
Devendra Kumar Tiwari (IAS:1986:JH), currently ACS Water Resources Department , was made the new Development Commissioner of the state. In addition, he will also hold the additional charge of Chief Resident Commissioner, Jharkhand Bhawan New Delhi.
Indu Shekhar Chaturvedi (IAS:1987:JH), currently Additional Chief Secretary, Forest and Environment, was made Member, Revenue Board. He will continue to hold the additional charge of the forest and environment department.
Arun Kumar Singh (IAS:1988:JH), Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, replaced D K Tiwary as Additional Chief Secretary, Water Resources.
Alok Goyal (IAS:1990:JH), currently Member, State Finance Commission, appointed Officer on Special Duty, Jharkhand Bhawan, New Delhi.
Rajiv Arun Ekka (IAS:1994:JH), currently Divisional Commissioner, Palamu has been made Labour Secretary.
Ajay Kumar Singh (IAS:1995:JH) was made Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department. Currently he is Secretary, Dept of Higher and Technical Education and Skill Development. He will also hold the additional charge of MD, JUIDCO which was earlier with Arun Kumar Singh.
Mrs Himani Pandey (IAS:1998:JH), in addition to her previous responsibility, will hold the additional charge of Secretary, Industry Department. Brajmohan Kumar (IAS:1998:JH) was posted as Administrator, Suvarn Rekha Project, Jamshedpur. Currently he serves as MD, Housing Board.
Vinay Kumar Choubey (IAS:1999:JH), in addition to his current responsibilities, was given additional charge of IT and E-governance Department.
Similarly, few more IAS officers were also given new postings and additional charge. They are; Surendra Kumar (IAS:2001:JH), Subhra Verma (IAS:2001:JH), Bhagwan Das (IAS:2001:JH), Shravan Soy (IAS:2001:JH), Vijay Kumar Singh (IAS:2002:JH), Manoj Kumar Jha (IAS:2002:JH), Rajesh Kumar Sharma (IAS:2003:JH); Abubakkar Siddiqui (IAS:2003:JH), Smt Vipra Bhal (IAS:2006:JH), Uma Shankar Singh (IAS:2009:JH), Akanksha Ranjan (IAS:2013:JH), Jeeshan Qamar (IAS:2013:JH), Shashi Ranjan (IAS:2013:JH) and Chitranjan Kumar.
