The NaMo administration, on Saturday, effected a major bureaucratic rejig in Secretary and Additional Secretary level as follows:

 

A B P Pandey (IAS:1984:MH) appointed Revenue Secretary vice Hasmukh Adhia (IAS:1981:GJ) who is retiring this month end. Currently Pandey is CEO, Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology. He will continue to hold the additional charge of CEO, UIDAI and Chairman, Goods and Services Tax Network.

 

Girish Chandra Murmu (IAS:1985:GJ) OSD in the Department of Expenditure. Murmu will replace Ajay Narayan Jha (IAS:1982:MN) who will be retiring this year end. Presently, he is Special Secretry, Department of Revenue.

 

Mrs Upma Chawdhry (IAS:1983:HP) appointed Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs vice Amarendra Kumar Dubey (IAS:1982:KL) who is retiring on 31 December 2018.. Currently Mrs Chawdhary is Director, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussorrie.

 

N Sivasailam (IAS:1985:KN) appointed Special Secretary (Logistics), Department of Commerce. Currently, he is Special Secretary, Department of Telecommunications.

 

Sumanta Chaudhuri (IAS:1985:WB) appointed Secretary, Ministry of Coal vice Shri Inder Jit Singh. Currently, Chaudhuri is Managing Director, Small Farmers' Agri-Business Consortium, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare.

 

Chhabilendra Roul (IAS:1985:AP) appointed OSD in the Department of Fertilizers. He will replace Ms. Bharathi S. Sihag (IAS:1983:HP) who is retiring on 31 December 2018. Presently, Roul is Special Secretary, Department of Agricultural Research and Education.

 

Yogendra Tripathy (IAS:1985:KN) appointed Secretary, Ministry of Tourism vice Mrs Rashmi Verma (IAS:1982:BH) who is retiring this month end. Presently, Tripathy is CMD, Food Corporation of India.

 

Bijay Kumar Tripathi (IAS:1983:JH) was pre-maturely repatriated to cadre state of Jharkhand. Presently, Member Secretary, NCR Planning Board, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

 

Jalaj Shrivastava (IAS:1984:UT) appointed Chairman, Inland Waterways Authority of India (AS rank) under the Ministry of Shipping. Presently, he is Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare.

 

Ms. Meenakshi Gupta (IA&AS:1984) appointed Member Secretary, National Commission for Women, Ministry of Women and Child Development in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. She replaces Ms. Satbir Bedi (IAS:1986:UT). Presently, Mrs Gupta is Presently, Mrs Gupta is Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.

 

Ms. Satbir Bedi (IAS:1986:UT) appointed Chairperson, National Council for Teacher Education. Presently, she is Secretary, National Commission for Women.

 

Ms. Amita Prasad (IAS:1985:KN) appointed DG, National Productivity Council in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Presently, she is Additional Secretary, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation.

 

Anshu Prakash (IAS:1986:AGMUT), presently in the cadre, appointed Additional Secretary, Department of Telecommunications in the vacancy caused due to appointment of N Sivasailam (IAS:1985:KN) Special Secretary (Logistics), Department of Commerce.

 

Rakesh Kumar Vats (IAS:1986:WB) appointed AS&FA, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Currently, Vats is Additional Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare vice Smt. Vijaya Shrivastava (IAS:1984:MP).

 

Ms. Vasudha Mishra (IAS:1987:TG) as Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare vice Jalaj Srivastava. Presently, she is Additional Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances.

 

Ms. Neel Kamal Darbari (IAS:1987:RJ) as MD, Small Farmers' Agri-Business Consortium, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary vice Sumanta Chaudhuri.

 

V Srinivas (IAS:1989:RJ) appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances vice Ms. Vasudha Mishra. Presently, he is cadre.

 

Ms. Shubhra Singh (IAS:1989:RJ) appointed Chairperson, National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPCA) in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary. Presently, she is Principal Resident Commissioner, Delhi.

 

Ms. Shalini Prasad (IAS:1985:UP) appointed Member Secretary, Tariff Commission in Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP) by temporarily upgrading the post to the level of Secretary. Presently, she is Special Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj

 

Ashok Kumar Singh (Lok Sabha Secretariat Service) appointed Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes by downgrading the post (temporarily) to HAG Grade. He replaces Raghav Chandra (IAS:1982:MP) who retired on October 31, 2018.
