Leaves of IAS, IPS officers cancelled; PM likely to participate in Global Investors Summit

Lucknow (08.02.2023): The Yogi Adityanath government has cancelled leave of IAS, IPS, PCS, and PPS officers until February 12 in view of the Global Investors Summit. Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra has issued instructions to all department heads in this regard.
The Global Investors Summit is being organized in Lucknow from February 10 to 12, 2023. The President of India, the Prime Minister of India as well the industrialists of the country and the world are likely to participate.
The Global Investors Summit will be critical in bridging the UP’s regional industrial economic gap. The manufacturing sector accounts for the lion’s share of the Rs 23 lakh crore in domestic foreign investment proposals received before the summit. Bundelkhand and Purvanchal will become major industrial centres in the near future as a result of their execution.
