New Delhi (03.04.2022): Union Law and Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju presented Union Home Minister’s Medal to 52 CBI officials during valedictory session of first-ever investigating officers conference organized by the CBI. The minister applauded the professional working of CBI officers in achieving the high conviction rate. He stressed on the tremendous team work exhibited by the premier investigating agency of the country.
Rijiju pointed out that people of India, judiciary and the Government have high expectations, faith and trust in the CBI. Overall, the CBI remains the pride of everybody. The Minister also assured all help in meeting challenges of manpower including need of lawyers adding that he would endeavour providing services of best lawyers to the organization. He also said that the ultimate goal of various organisations of the State including judiciary, Government and Law Enforcement Agencies, like CBI, is to ensure justice to the people and, as such, the Government is working towards providing justice at the doorstep.
The Minister congratulated all the meritorious investigating officers of the CBI on being presented with the Home Minister Medal in excellence in investigation for the year 2018, 2019 and 2020. Rijiju said, “Whenever we see the CBI officers, we get the sense of professionalism because the conduct of CBI officer’s right from the constabulary to the Director is impeccable.”
