Law Commission Chairman Justice B S Chauhan has decided to move out of his office in the Hindustan Times Building on K G Marg, CP, as part of a saving drive. The commission pays a monthly rent of Rs one crore for the office space. Chauhan has decided that the government building in Khan Market, which currently houses the National Commission for Minorities, will be sufficient to meet his requirement. So from January, the commission will function out of its new office in Lok Nayak Bhawan in Khan Market.
