New Delhi (28.08.2024): It would be interesting to watch how its pans out in the Haryana Assembly elections with the BJP turning the Jat-centric politics into Jat verses the rest. This has seeped into the Congress too. They are now in double mind if Bhupinder Singh Hooda should be projected as CM or not as the rest of the communities may go elsewhere. INLD and JJP are two Jat specific political outfits and the Congress is not sure that pushing Hooda for the CM’s job will help the party or harm it. Things have been made little more complicated by 10 Janpath’s favourite and Lok Sabha MP Kumari Selja announcing to Contest Assembly elections.
