If some well-placed sources are to be believed Amit Kaushik is
ahead in the race for the post of Managing Director, Energy Efficiency Services
Limited (EESL); a post which is being filled up through Search-cum-selection-committee
route. Interestingly, the post was advertised on 01.12.2019 and was withdrawn
on 03.12.2019. Presently, Saurabh Kumar, former IRS officer, is the MD of
EESL; a Joint Venture of NTPC Limited, PFC, REC and POWERGRID under the
Ministry of Power.
