New Delhi (25.09.2024): The BJP cannot afford to annoy farmers when Assembly elections process in Haryana are underway, so Mandi Lok Sabha MP Kangana Ranaut was forced to eat crow yet again in a couple of months. Insiders say that the Congress is enjoying faux pas made by Bollywood star turned MP who turn out to be an asset (pun intended) for the Congress. When Rahul Gandhi promised opening Sindhu borders where farmers are protesting, Ranaut’s demand of bringing three farm laws back akin to offering the narrative in favour of the Congress on platter. It was Pragya Thakur who embarrassed the BJP in the last Lok Sabha, now it is Ranaut who is turning out to be another Pragya Thakur for the BJP. The way she was asked to apologise twice on the same issue of farmer’s stir; it appears that she still has to learn that politics is not only about speaking but also what not to speak.
