Navreet Singh Kang (IAS:1983:PB), the incumbent Union Secretary Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, on Friday prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre (Punjab) 09 months ahead of his retirement.
Reportedly, the Punjab Govt is all set to appoint him as Chairman, Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). He will submit his resignation immediately after joining Govt of Punjab; a requisite step to be appointed as RERA Chairman. His new responsibility will bring him five years long tenure whereas he would have retired in April next year.
