New Delhi: Names of several technocrats are doing round to be inducted in the council of minister of the Modi government including K V Kamath, Dileep Parikh and Amitabh Kant besides some other who were left out and some other new faces.

The government appears to have made up its mind on K V Kamath, nominated Rajya Sabha member Swapan Dasgupta besides a couple of JD (U) leaders. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to induct some new ministers post budget.

The Modi government is constantly under pressure on the economic front and the government was looking for some technocrats for finance ministry. Some more ministers may be inducted from the BJP and some of them might be divested. Dasgupta is likely to be inducted asminister of state in the Human Resource Development Ministry. Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant is also in the reckoning who may be considered if the government decides that it wants to strengthen the expertise bench.

Some old faces may make a come back like Suresh Prabhu, who earlier held the charge of Commerce and Industry and Railways. Some others who were not given chance in May are likely to be inducted this time round as many ministers are having more than two ministries.
