As Indianmandarins had anticipated in its report on May 02, 2015, K Kailashnathan (Rtd IAS:GJ:1979), the incumbent Chief Principal Secretary to Gujarat CM, has been given one year extension beyond May 31, 2015. Kailashnathan, better known as KK among his colleagues, had retired in May 2013 while serving as Additional Chief Secretary to the then CM Narendra Modi who had further re-employed him by creating the post (for the first time) of Chief Principal Secretary to CM. After Anandiben Patel had succeeded Narendra Modi as Gujarat CM in May 2014 KK was given one year extension ending May 31 this year.
