K’taka RERA: Ex-IPS Chandra & Neelamani named as Chairman & Member

2698May 07, 2021: The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) of Karnataka has appointed HC Kishore Chandra (Retd IPS:1984:KN), a retired DGP rank officer as the new Chairman. Kishore will take over from the outgoing Chairman M R Kamble completing his term on 31 May 2021. Chandra will have a tenure as Chairman up to May 2024. It may be underlined that the K-RERA has seen four interim and one permanent chief since inception in July 2017. Further, former State DGP Neelamani N Raju (Retd IPS:1983:KN) was appointed as a Member of the K-Rera against the post falling vacant w.e.f. June 01, 2021.
