New Delhi (26.11.2022): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved appointments of nine officers at Joint Secretary / Joint Secretary equivalent level. The list of newly appointed Joint Secretaries goes like this:
Solomon Arokiaraj (IAS:2000:AP) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs for a tenure of five years vice Peeyush Kumar (IAS:1997:AP).
Manoj Kumar Sahoo (IAS:2006:UT) was appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India for an overall tenure of seven years ending 16.12.2023.
Ms Ankita Mishra Bundela (IAS:2001:UT) was appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare for a tenure of five years vice Ms V Hekali Zhimomi (IAS:1996:UP).
Sanjeet (IRAS:1998) was appointed as Joint Secretary & Financial Adviser (AS&FA) Ministry of Housing and Urban Affair for a tenure of five years vice Shyam Sunder Dubey (ICAS:1989).
Ms M Janaki (IAS:2005:AP) was appointed as Additional Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission under DOPT for an overall tenure of seven years ending 11.09.2023 vice Sudhir Kumar (IAS:1999:UT).
Puneet Yadav (IAS:1999:WB) was appointed as Additional Secretary, Union Public Service Commission under DOPT for an overall tenure of five years vice Dhananjay Kumar (IDAS:1993).
