If some well placed sources are to be believed J&K Governor has written to the Centre to repatriate few senior IAS officers namely; Arun Kumar Mehta (IAS:1988:JK), Atal Dulloo (IAS:1989:JK) and Manoj Kumar Dwivedi (IAS:1999:JK). Mehta serves as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change; Dulloo is Jt Secretary in Department of Rural Development whereas Dwivedi serves as Jt Secretary, Department of Commerce.
Though Mehbooba Govt too had requested the Centre return some officers but those in the know of the affairs laughingly say that in the new and emerging scenario, post President Rule, the officers have been recalled to accomplish 'Mission Kashmir'.
