Neeraj Kharwal (IAS: 2007: UK) was appointed as MD (JS Level), India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), under the Department of Commerce for a tenure of five years on November 1, 2025. But he has not taken over the charge so far.

Meanwhile, tenure of additional charge of Ajay Bhadoo (IAS: 1999: GJ), Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, to the post of Director General, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry has been extended for a period from 21.10.2025 to 20.01.2026.
