Jaipur (30.10.2023): Jat leader Hanuman Beniwal’s Rashtriya Loktantrik Party and Dalit leader Chandrashekar Azad ‘Rawan’’s Azad Samaj Party have joined hands in Rajasthan for assembly elections. The alliance may impact Rajasthan polls for sure. The alliance plans to field candidates on all 200 seats however RLP contested 58 seats in 2018 Assembly elections. Jats constitute 10 per cent while SCs are around 18 per cent in Rajasthan however they are not considered to be natural allies. In Lok Sabah elections, Beniwal was supported by the BJP but he fell apart on the farm bill issue.
