New Delhi (11.02.2026): India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) has reported a robust financial performance in the Q3 of FY 2025–26, reflecting a clear turnaround driven by sharper execution and rising demand across its tourism and hospitality businesses. ITDC posted 54 per cent growth over the previous quarter, underlining improving operational momentum.

Turnover during the quarter also registered a healthy 28 per cent rise compared to the corresponding period last year, pointing to sustained year-on-year expansion. The numbers indicate tighter cost controls, improved utilisation of assets and a more focused approach towards revenue-generating verticals.

A factor behind the growth has been ITDC’s integrated tourism model, which allows it to operate seamlessly across the entire value chain. From hotels and catering to travel services, event management, duty-free retail and tourism infrastructure consultancy, ITDC’s diversified yet connected operations have enabled better coordination and consistent service delivery.

The quarter saw encouraging traction in several high-growth segments. Event management, MICE activities, weddings, travel and tour services, along with institutional catering, emerged as strong contributors. These segments have helped ITDC reinforce its position as a one-stop destination for comprehensive tourism solutions, catering to both institutional clients and the broader market.

Technology adoption has also played a growing role in shaping performance. During the quarter, the corporation continued to invest in digital platforms, analytics and data-driven systems to improve operational visibility and customer engagement. The emphasis on technology-led processes is aimed at supporting faster decision-making and enhancing service quality across verticals.

ITDC Managing Director Mugdha Sinha noted that the current phase marks a significant milestone for ITDC, as it coincides with six decades of the corporation’s journey and 70 years of The Ashok. She highlighted the focus on strategic transformation, digital enablement, asset optimisation and sustainability as key pillars supporting long-term growth and alignment with national tourism objectives.

The quarter-on-quarter improvement reflects a combination of disciplined planning, sharper business alignment and a shift towards personalised, integrated offerings. With demand gradually strengthening and internal efficiencies improving, ITDC appears well-positioned to play a larger role in India’s evolving tourism and hospitality landscape as the sector moves through the Amrit Kaal phase.
