Bhopal (22.06.2023): This is intriguing to learn that VRS of Purushottam Sharma (IPS: 1986: MP) was rejected by the Madhya Pradesh government when Union cabinet and many states have bureaucrats as ministers and leaders including party president. His application was rejected on the ground that two investigations are pending against hi however reportedly the real reason being his intension of joining the Congress as elections in Madhya Pradesh are likely in January 2024 and Sharma will be retiring in April 2024.Sharma wanted to contest from Joura Assembly constituency in Morena as he belonged to neighborhood Gwalior. Joura constituency is a Brahmin dominated constituency and Sharma contesting from there will be helpful for the Congress.
