1858New Delhi (10.10.2023): The Public Enterprise Selection
Board (PESB) on October 9, 2023 held a selection interview for the post of
Chairman and Managing Director, Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC).
Incumbent CMD of IRFC Amitabh Banerjee is retiring on December 31, 2023. The selection board found none of the three candidates, who
turned up for interview however there were more to be interviewed, suitable for
the post and advised the Ministry of Railways to choose an appropriate course
of further action for selection including the Search-cum-Selection-Committee
