935New Delhi (16.05.2023): The Public Enterprise Selection
Board (PESB) on May 16, 2023 held a selection interview for the post of
Chairman, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL). IOCL Chairman Shrikant Madhav
Vaidya is retiring on August 31, 2023. The selection board found none of the 10 candidates suitable
for the post and advised the administrative ministry/department (Ministry of
Petroleum & Natural Gas) to choose an appropriate course of further action
for selection including the Search-cum-Selection-Committee (SCSC) or as deemed
appropriate with the approval of the competent authority.
