New Delhi (03.01.2022): A section of media persons believe that UP 2022 is the ‘Gateway to 2024’. Another section feels it as the ‘Semifinal to 2024’ whereas some other section considers it even more important than that.

Whatever it could be but it is going to pose several intriguing questions e.g. Shall we see the end of Mayawati’s charisma? Is ‘Tipu’ emerging as an independent election strategist? Can Akhilesh lead a national opposition coalition? Has Priyanka Gandhi Vadra given a glimpse of INC’s revival in UP post-2022? Will she take over as Congress party’s chief? Is Yogi the RSS’ succession plan for BJP? If so, will Narendra Modi follow the age bar of 75? Most importantly, if ‘Hindu nationalism’ still an effective tool?

There are two dark horses in UP politics. Will Om Prakash Rajbhar of SBSP be able to cause damage to the BJP? Similarly, how much harm AIMIM’s Assaduddin Owaisi can do to the SP? Which way independent women folks go in this election?
