Jitendra Gupta, a 2013 batch IAS officer who was arrested in a corruption case by the State Vigilance Department, was on Wednesday suspended by the Bihar government. A General Administration Department notice stated that Gupta has been suspended till next order.
Gupta, who was Sub Divisional Officer of Mohania in Rohtas district was held by the State Vigilance department on July 12 for allegedly indulging in corruption. It was Gupta's first posting as an IAS officer.
