Housing Ministry petitions SC for transferring all RERA cases to one court

The Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to transfer over two dozen cases filed at different HCs challenging the Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Act (RERA) to one court.
Officials told Indianmandarins that as many as 25 cases have been filed, including one by the Jabalpur chapter of Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI).
Government officials said six petitions of developers are filed in Bombay HC, two in Nagpur bench and one in Aurangabad bench. Three cases are pending in Jabalpur HC and 12 cases in Bangalore HC.

The Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to transfer over two dozen cases filed at different HCs challenging the Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Act (RERA) to one court.
Officials told Indianmandarins that as many as 25 cases have been filed, including one by the Jabalpur chapter of Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI).
