Kolkata (11.11.2023): The Board of Hindustan Copper Limited in its meeting held in Kolkata has approved the Financial Results for the second quarter of the current fiscal year 2023-24. During the quarter the financial and physical performance of the Company has improved substantially.
The Profit Before Tax during the quarter ending September 2023 was Rs 82.75 crore as against Rs 32.04 crore in the corresponding period of the last year, an increase of around 158%. The sales volume in September 2023 quarter was also higher by 49 per cent compared to corresponding period of the last year.
On the production front, the growth momentum has been maintained. During the quarter ended September 2023, mine production in terms of Copper ore has increased by around 13 per cent compared to the corresponding period of the last year.
