Kolkata Delhi (16.08.2023): In celebration of the 77th Independence Day of the nation, Ghanshyam Sharma, CMD, HCL, hoisted the National Flag at HCL Corporate Office in Kolkata in the presence of Sanjiv Kumar Singh, Director (Mining), Upendra Kumar Pandey, Chief Vigilance Officer, and other senior officials followed by rendition of the National Anthem.
In his Independence Day address, Sharma said, “To envision a prosperous and inclusive India, the need of the hour is to prioritize our own Kartavya, our duties. As a responsible corporate citizen, with the onus of ensuring efficient utilization of the country’s Copper resources in a sustainable way, Hindustan Copper Limited is striving hard to expand its mining capacity to offer a more reliable supply of Copper for the diverse downstream sectors in India.”
At the end of the day, scholarship certificates were given away to the meritorious children of the Copper Family.
